The Chief Executive Officer of Unipro Investments Limited, David Raymond Edet, paid a working visit to the Honorable Commissioner for Environment and Mineral Resources, Rt. Hon. Nsikak Ekong, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Uyo.

The discussions focused on strategic partnerships to unlock the vast potential of the solid minerals sector in Akwa Ibom State.

During the meeting, *Rt. Hon. Nsikak Ekong* reaffirmed the State Government’s commitment to collaborating with and supporting investors in harnessing its rich mineral resources.

He emphasized that His Excellency Governor Umo Eno’s administration remains dedicated to creating an enabling environment for sustainable investments in the solid and critical minerals sector, in alignment with the ARISE Agenda — a blueprint for economic development and industrialization in Akwa Ibom State.

In response, Unipro Investments Limited expressed its full support for Pastor Umo Eno’s *ARISE Agenda*, particularly in the area of resource development and value addition.

As part of its commitment, Unipro presented the “Decade of Mining” roadmap, a comprehensive strategy designed to catalyze the growth of Akwa Ibom’s solid minerals sector.

This roadmap outlines key investment opportunities, regulatory frameworks, and sustainable development strategies aimed at maximizing the State’s mineral wealth for economic prosperity.

Unipro Investments Limited also commended the Honorable Commissioner’s leadership and dedication to attracting investments into the sector.

The company pledged to work collaboratively with the Ministry and other key stakeholders to drive the responsible exploration and utilization of Akwa Ibom’s vast mineral resources.

Also present at the meeting were the Permanent Secretary, Iquo Abia, Esq and key directors and staff members.
